THE ARTISTS

Vince Nguyen is a digital artist exploring the use of codes for experimental storytelling experiences. He attends NYU Abu Dhabi (UAE) and is currently in his final year pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Media with a specialization in Computer Science.

Vince experiments with different media, from the web to physical computation and immersive technologies. He discovers his inclination towards remodeling technological tools to create artworks that while seem progressive at hand, speculative at heart. In a time when technology is often associated with dissent and dissociation, Vince’s works leverage new modes of interaction to weave narratives with intimacy, and sometimes strangeness, to appeal to the public with the whimsical and personified aspect of technology.

Most recently, his interactive game exploring honesty and mutual understanding between two people, Love Maze, was featured in p5.js showcase (New York) dedicated to emerging digital creatives.
